Day 1
Our plan was to camp at Pinecrest two days. However, on the drive up, it was pouring rain! Me and Jon decided to get a cabin the first night and see if the rain would stop by the next day. We stayed at Cabins at Strawberry, which were ridiculously clean and spacious. Definitely my favorite place to stay in this area.
And then it started to snow!!
Day 2
Still raining! Well at least the snow stopped. We didn't want to do to our camping tent what we did with our backpacking tent...which was put it through another blizzard even though it's only fit for 3-season.
We immediately built shelter. And when I say "we," I mean Jon.
Day 3
They wanted to go fishing before we headed home. Although, this was my first camping trip as a vegan so I was secretly hoping they didn't catch anything....which worked because they didn't. lol.
