We just adopted Cusco a couple months before and wanted to take him camping for the first time. He enjoyed the daytime part but was cold and annoyed at night. He just wanted to stay in the tent. Lol.

The campsites were nice. We were able to get a spot that was close to the water. However, they were still a tad bit close to each other. Or maybe I'm just spoiled from the isolated backpacking sites.

Cusco didn't like the cold that much. His jacket was just some cheap bomber jacket. So after this trip, we upgraded to a Ruffwear Quinzee jacket...which cost just as much as one of my jackets. But he loves it! It is well insulated and super easy to pack.

Overall, had a good time here. You're close enough to others where you know you have neighbors, but it's definitely not as cramped as other campgrounds. It also only has 35 sites so not as crowded, which is nice.
