Summary

This is glamping PLUS beautiful scenery. My favorite diva campsite, because it has pretty much everything you need to get away but not really. We used to catch so much fish here. But now, I enjoy hiking around the lake and just relaxing.

On this particular trip, we explored the hiking trails around Pinecrest Lake and also drove to several nearby places.

Downtown Sonora was cute.

Mercer Caverns

We saw signs along the highway for tours of the Mercer Caverns, a cave located in Murphys, Calaveras County, CA. If you are claustrophobic, this is NOT fun.

Visited the Railtown State Historic Park.
